About the Team The Data Team builds and operates our modern data stack, making it easier for teams across the company to gain actionable insights on how we might improve the overall customer experience. User privacy is paramount and our team ensures that we deliver on this commitment. About the Role As a [Senior] Data Analyst on our team, you will help drive business impact through data. You’ll work closely with several Product Teams to transform key user flows into measurable outcomes, develop actionable insights, and help shape our strategy to deliver maximum impact to our customers and the ecosystem. What you’ll do: Work closely with our Product Teams to create and track metrics across our products, be a steward for data standards, and share actionable insights Utilize data visualization and storytelling techniques to clearly communicate outcomes and insights Build dashboards and data infrastructure towards a coherent tech and data ecosystem Develop and improve our data stack to provide our teams timely and structured access to their data Who we’re looking for: 5+ years experience working as a data analyst, or a similar role - 3+ years experience with analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel), data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Google Data Studio), and data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow) - Ability to identify the root causes of changes in key metrics and run tests to validate your hypotheses Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling / diagramming techniques - Experience handling sensitive data, and exercising judgment and discretion Independence in determining and establishing data analysis priorities to balance ongoing projects with requests from multiple team members. - Biased toward action, simplifier, and a great communicator - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery.
