The opportunity : For our Newton community team, we are looking for candidates with advanced experience in project development, consensus encryption algorithms, post-solution evaluation summaries, and ecological cryptography research. You'll use the latest technology and best practices to achieve our goals, and your career in research and development provides excellent opportunities to grow in an exciting, multicultural environment. In this role, you’ll get to: Implement PoCs and prototypes for Newton blockchain projects Conduct research in one consensus algorithm, encryption algorithm, or economic model Write papers targeted at top conferences as well as blog posts targeted at general audiences Contribute to open source projects that we use in our research Stay up to date on research and development in the blockchain and cryptography ecosystems What you’ll need to succeed: Master’s degree or above in cryptography, computer science, mathematics, or related fields or equivalent experience. 3+ years of programming experience in a systems programming language such as C/C++, Go (Preferred), and Rust (Preferred). Knowledge of one or more of the following: P2P networking, zero-knowledge proofs, Smart Contract, MPC. Knowledge of secure software practices. Experience in deploying production-ready applications.
