As Social Media Manager, you’ll be a part of the overall LGND Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing. You’ll play a significant role in creating the brand strategy and narrative, driving the business forward by aligning our marketing plan against focused goals. This position is also a key cross-functional partner and creates clear plans to support strategy and growth and driving unification across brand, creative, product, development, and operational functions.

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to create and execute our social media strategy. You will be responsible for concepting and developing content in conjunction with our design team, increasing base growth and engagement, managing the editorial calendar, and responding to the various communities. Our social handles are the primary tool for promotion and this role will help to manage the brand image to achieve our marketing goals.

As a Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends as well as highly in-tune with our user insights and analytics. You should have excellent communication skills, creative tactics and be able to express our brand views through the right reflection of tone, voice, and content. Your performance will be based on distinct KPIs such as increase in web traffic, followers, and consistent engagement levels.

Our current social presence includes Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook,Tiktok, Reddit and Discord. Job Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in defining and executing a vision for how the LGND Music brand represents on social across all platforms.
  • Design and implement creative social media strategy and editorial calendar to align with business goals, set specific objectives in conjunction with marketing teams and report on ROI
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily in collaboration with the Studio and Marketing teams (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news)
  • Manage the community: respond and converse with followers, respond to questions in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Monitor SEO and social channel traffic metrics
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, development, and operations to ensure brand and messaging consistency
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness and heat – artists spotlights, giveaways, promotions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
  • Consistently adjust strategy to fit marketplace and consumer shifts that align with our insights and analytics

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager (5+ years)
  • Hands on experience in content management and social media strategy, planning and analytics
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional skills; able to work well within a team environment
  • Expert knowledge of online social channels, keyword research, and analytic programs (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Later etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite a must
  • Passion and connection to music are all encouraged but not necessary
  • Working knowledge of Web3 and blockchain are not required but a plus
